There are endless things to do in Vail Village and Lionshead Village all year round. GoPro Mountain Games is an incredible festival celebrating adventure sports with art and live music each summer at Vail. 


Summers in Vail also feature many music festivals and live music events. Bravo! Vail is a music festival featuring orchestras and solo performers creating electrifying programs, classical masterpieces, and jazz music. Vail Dance Festival is an incredible celebration of dance as fine art. The festival takes place in a beautiful outdoor amphitheater with views of the surrounding mountains. Vail Jazz is a non-profit organization that hosts jazz shows throughout Vail, as well as educational workshops and classes. Vail Jazz and Bravo! Vail are both hosted at the Gerald Ford Amphitheatre, also known as The Amp or Ford Amphitheatre. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, The Amp provides an incredible space for art and music in the summer in Vail.


Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is a beautiful space for a relaxing retreat in Vail. With carefully curated gardens filled with local plants, winding paths take visitors through a natural exhibition.


Piney Lake has some of the best views in Vail. Come here to watch the sunset between the towering mountains and catch a glimpse of the red reflections scattered across the lake. Piney Lake also features walking and hiking trails for use in the warmer months.
